MSRBA Fall Show

This is Emily with her REW English buck- "Emily's Patronus". At 4 1/2 months old he has made Sr. weight and has been shown as a Sr. "Patronus" has everything we have been striving for in our English breeding program and the judges seem to agree! He has been shown only three times and all three times has taken Best of Breed. He is smooth, with no bones sticking out from shoulders to rump, and he is perfectly cobby and compact. "Patronus" should do very well for Emily at fair this next summer. And for you Harry Potter fans out there- yes "Patronus" is named straight from the books!

The little guy to the left is "Soren" a litter mate of "Patronus" from above. He, like his brother, is also three for three for Best of Breed wins. Pictured with "Soren" is me, Jackie, after our win at the MSRBA Fall Show. "Soren" is every bit as nice as his brother but he is honestly the messiest Angora I have had! If I can keep up with grooming this monster I have great hopes for him!

To the right is me with "Carpenter's Breloom". She has taken two Best of Breed wins between Mason and the MSRBA Fall Show. "Breloom" has the best coat I have ever seen but I would like to see more rise on her along with a bit more length. When she molts out I will be breeding her with a buck I bought especially to pair with her. I think she will throw me some stunning offspring!

2005 ARBA Convention

Our two REW French does did very well at Convention! Carpenter's Foretress, to the right, got "Best White Wool" and a 3rd place and Carpenter's Breloom, left, got 5th place out of 19 White Sr. does! Both of these gals come from "Fancy That" lines. For our first ever Convention we think we did very nicely! We are looking froward to ARBA Convention 2007 when it comes to Michigan~ our turf!

Raven

This is Raven a Sr. black English Angora doe. Our daughter Emily showed her at fair this year and won "Grand Champion"! We purchase Raven from a fellow breeder. My daughters put 5 legs on this little doe before she was a Sr! She is now "Granded" and has a new home with a youth breeder. Hopefully Raven will produce many more "Grand Champions"!

Emily is now working on a REW English buck.

A Bit More About Us

We are a small family owned and operated Angora rabbitry located in mid-western Michigan. We have about 50 rabbits. On any given Saturday you can find our family at an ARBA rabbit show within the state. We show our rabbits often to be sure they measure up to the ARBA 'Standards of Prefection'. This year we have taken many "Best of Breed" awards with our rabbits. Emily, our oldest daughter, took "Grand Champion" rabbit at Montcalm County Fair. We have entered two French Angora does into this year's ARBA Convention in Indy. This will be our first Convention so we are quite nervous! Good Luck to everyone who will be competing at ARBA Convention!
